Janan Braley, LMHC
Janan Braley began her career in mental health in 2011 working at residential center for individuals with a diagnosis of fire setting behaviors and psychotic disorders. Janan returned to school to earn her Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2015. Janan began her career as a mental health counselor providing a combination of in home therapy and outpatient therapy to children and families at a local non profit organization. Before establishing Centered Minds Counseling Janan worked at a private practice providing outpatient therapy to children, teens and adults.
Janan’s biggest goal is to build a collaborative counseling atmosphere where her clients have a say in the direction they would like to go. Janan provides person-centered therapy as well as a combination of CBT and positive psychology in her daily work. She enjoys helping patients learn communication skills and ways to handle their strong emotions in healthier ways.

Nancy Staelens, M.Ed., CAGS, LSW, LMHC
Nancy Staelens graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a master’s degree in Mental Health
Counseling and subsequently attended Antioch University in Keene NH where she obtained
a post master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Social Worker
, and her LMHC license is pending. Nancy has 20 years of experience working in the counseling
field including crisis clinician and supervisor, in-home therapist and is currently working
as an outpatient therapist with specializations in the following areas: Dual-diagnosis, trauma
, substance use, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. Nancy works with multiple populations
including children, teens, adults, and older adults.
The
most important aspect of therapy is to provide a safe space in which clients can explore their past
and current stressors. Therapy should be a space where clients feel they can be themselves, even
during some of the most difficult points in their lives. Nancy’s approach to therapy is to provide
clients with guidance, support, and feedback in a safe space where each client feels heard
and validated. Nancy’s goal is to support clients in developing the skills needed through different
therapeutic techniques including solution focused, CBT, and DBT to work through the difficult
times we experience when navigating life challenges.

Jennifer Baymon, MA
Jennifer Baymon is a Master’s Level Mental Health Counselor who graduated with her Masters in Counseling Psychology from American International College. Jennifer enjoys working with adolescents, teens, and adults. Jenn is passionate about helping others navigate through various lifestyle transitions.
It is important to Jenn to work with clients to develop their desired therapy goals. Objectives are met through CBT and positive psychology. Jennifer enjoys helping patients cope with their issues and create healthy boundaries and values that drive their success.

Vejen Bruno-Lasanta, MA
Pursuing Ph.D
Accepting new clients (Spanish speaking clients as well). Vejen Bruno-Lasanta is a Masters level Mental Health Counselor and is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology. Vejen has been in the mental health field for over 11 years. Vejen works with children, pre-teens, adolescents, adults and older adults. Vejen uses different scopes of practice such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and group therapy among others. Vejen has over 7 years working with dual-diagnosis clients and is experienced with addiction counseling. Vejen's approach is client focused and centered for she believes we are here to help navigate and guide by teaching the appropriate skills needed to process life situations.

Jillian McBride, LICSW
Jillian McBride is a licensed independent clinical social worker who has worked primarily as a psychotherapist. Jillian graduated with her master’s degree in social work from Westfield State University in 2015. Jillian has provided therapy for all ages and is currently working with young adults and adults who would like to learn more about themselves and their strengths.
Jillian believes that therapy should be a safe place where self expression is unlimited and supported, she strives to always meet her clients exactly where they are in their lives. Jillian focuses on cultivating mindfulness in her life and enjoys teaching mindfulness skills to others. Jillian believes take taking care of our minds and our bodies are equally important. Jillian would like to hold space for whatever it may be that is going on in your life while guiding you, the expert of your life, to your next accomplishments.

Shauna Allen, MS

Shana Allen is a masters level outpatient clinician who graduated with her master's in Social Work. Shauna enjoys working with children, teens, couples, and adults. Shauna has been in the mental health field for 13 years, and have been counseling for 6 years. .
Shauna utilizes CBT, as well as has experience providing therapy to individuals with a trauma history. Shauna will listen and empathize while helping and guiding individuals through stressful situations.

Erica Gagne, PHD, LCSW
Erica Gagne is a social worker who graduated from NYU with a Master’s in Social Work, and from Yeshiva University with a PhD in Social Welfare. Erica enjoys working with adolescents (18+), and adults at every stage. Erica is passionate about helping adolescents and adults identify and utilize health coping mechanisms as they navigate through various transitions. Erica is eager to help patients learn to deal with strong emotions in a healthy way.
